Our third look from Simone Perele collection is an aqua green “Pretty” Half Cup & Shorty in Opal. Incredibly pretty and feminine, like a deconstructed bouquet, this line shows unprecedented craftsmanship through the combination of French embroidery and lace on an airy fishnet background. 

We have showcased the opal piece as it is an extension of the broader green colour palette which is an emotionally positive colour. The green palette gives us the ability to nurture and love ourselves and others.

The colour of nature, it is restful, soothing and promotes good health. It is known to relieve stress which is so important in our busy lives. Surrounding yourself with this calming hue will assist in keeping your anxiety at bay. Just think how tranquil it is when you walk through the bush or lush green parks and breathe in the fresh air.

Given this colour promotes healthy living, we have come up with a super healthy smoothie for our femmes focussed around getting all the nutrients you need for a healthy body and mind.

Green Smoothie

The @Wholefood Wellness foodie has created a delicious and nutrient rich easy green smoothie. Containing fruit along with your greens, this will fill you up either at breakfast or for a substantial snack during the day. Containing no dairy or refined sugar, this super green smoothie is full of natural green fibre.

Our favourite superfood, Kale, has been proven to support the body’s detoxification system as well as reduce the risk of several cancers and decrease cholesterol levels. You should be including Kale in your diet 2-3 times per week. A smoothie is a great way to also pack other greens into your diet, such as the spinach and avocado. The fruit and dates add a touch of sweetness. Everyone will love this super smoothie!


Makes 2 Smoothies

  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/2 Mango
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Large Handful of Kale
  • 1 Handful of Spinach
  • 2 Medjool Dates
  • 5 Mint Leaves
  • 3/4 Cup Coconut Milk
  • Optional: 1 Tsp of desired green powder (I used Amazonia green powder)

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. For added thickness add ice cubes to the blender. So easy!
